Run For the Sun

When the sky closes We see a light on the mountainside And we know, or keep hoping That it ignites what we hide inside And when the sky closes its eyes at night We fly in the shadows like a kite And wait for the lime in the stride We wait for the lime in You are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen Oh so pretty So run away I don't want you to feel the sting of electricity So run, run, run, run, run Run for the sun Run for the sun Run for the sun Don't wait for lightning to strike, my son Don't wait for lightning to strike, just run Don't wait for lightning to strike, my dear Just run, run, run away from here When the thunder growls like a wolf on the mountainside I try in vain to hold on of the emotions that I hide inside But they run like a river down through the hills And they flood everything I never wanted to kill Kill, kill, kill And when the sky closes its eyes at night We fly in the shadows like a kite And wait for the lightning to strike We wait for the lightning So run, run, run, run, run Run for the sun Run for the sun Run for the sun Don't wait for lightning to strike, my son Don't wait for lightning to strike, just run Don't wait for lightning to strike, my dear Just run, run, run away from here Don't wait for lightning to strike, my son Don't wait for lightning to strike, just run Don't wait for lightning to strike, my dear Just run, run, run, don't wait
